Terms of use and copyright
The service
ConvertMP4MP3 (convertmp4mp3.com) is a free tool that converts audio and video files inside your browser. By using it you accept these terms.
Your files and copyright
You may only convert files that you created, that you own, or that you have permission to use. You are responsible for what you convert and for what you do with the result.
- The tool works exclusively with files that are already stored on your device.
- It does not download, record or extract content from other websites, apps or streaming services, and it must not be used to get around technical protection measures (DRM).
- Converting a file does not give you any new rights over it. Copyright and neighbouring rights continue to apply to the converted file.
We do not host, store or transmit the files that people convert, so there is no content on our servers to remove. If you believe the site itself infringes your rights, write to contact@convertmp4mp3.com and we will answer promptly.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site for anything illegal, and do not try to disrupt it, overload it or interfere with how other people use it.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose. Conversions depend on your browser and your device, and may fail. Always keep your original files.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data or for any other damage that results from using, or not being able to use, the service.
Third-party software
The site uses open-source software, including FFmpeg. The licences are listed on the open-source licences page.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
